Will Block

Partner & Co-Founder

Will’s primary focus at Olympus is capital markets, site selection, and the efficient delivery of our pipeline. Prior to Olympus, Block worked as the Director of Development for Stout Ventures where he was directly responsible for the formation of their multifamily development practice. In this role, Will sourced, capitalized, and executed numerous ground up multifamily projects. Before Stout, Will worked with various private multifamily owners and developers within the sunbelt closing on over 2,000 units. Over the course of his career, Will has been responsible for the development and rehabilitation of over 3,500 apartment units.

Mike Hartnett

Partner & Co-Founder

Mike’s primary focus at Olympus is the efficient delivery of our pipeline, site selection, and capital markets. Prior to Olympus, Hartnett was the Co-Founder and Co-Chairman Emeritus of Campus Crest Communities, Inc. (NYSE: CCG), a vertically integrated national student housing platform. Upon his retirement from the Company in 2014, Campus Crest owned and operated over 46,000 student housing beds and was recognized as the 2nd largest, publicly-traded, student housing company in the United States. Hartnett holds a masters degree from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a B.S. in structural engineering from UM.

Brian Ammons

Partner & Co-Founder

Brians primary focus at Olympus is construction management, site selection, and the efficient delivery of our pipeline. As both a framer and general contractor, Brian brings over three decades of on-hand and in-depth experience in wood frame garden apartment construction. Over the course of his career Brian has been directly responsible for the construction of over 5,000 apartment units spread across the Southeastern United States

Jack Gryboski

Senior Associate

Jack’s primary focus at Olympus is ongoing project management from the later pre-development stages through the entire construction process. Prior to Olympus, Jack served as a senior financial analyst at Stout Ventures. In this role, Jack was responsible for early stage project analysis, underwriting, and due diligence.

Tyler Watson

Associate

Tyler’s primary focus at Olympus is site selection and analysis of new development opportunities. Prior to Olympus, Tyler served as a financial analyst for the institutional sales team at Cushman & Wakefield and was responsible for project valuation and advising owners on the sale process.

Matthew Armstrong

Associate

Matthew’s primary focus at Olympus is the management and optimization of our existing portfolio. Prior to Olympus, Matthew worked in management consulting before pivoting into a lead financial analyst and underwriting role at two boutique real estate development and acquisition firms.
